For this dance, the dancers will perform certain specific actions that I give them but in between those actions there will be room for them to improvise their own movements. Right now we're working to develop structures around which the dancers can improvise. At the start of the clip you'll see two dancers working on a simple, pre-set movement phrase. Next, they use that phrase as the basis for improvisation. This is followed by all three dancers working on another pre-choreographed phrase, and then two of them improvise with the first phrase again.
